Hi Ray. Thank you for the Michael Hyatt interview and the perspectives you are gaining through participation in his program Best wishes to you and your family for a healthy and prosperous 2014!
Thank you Miguel – always great to hear from you.
Ray, I have many goals for 2014. One of my goals is to exercise 250 days, run 1500 miles, and swim 25 miles. I’m off to a great start!
Dang ! I think I need to raise the bar a notch or two. 🙂
I’ve known about the power of goals for years but never wrote any down. Why I waited so long to start doing this stuff is beyond me. But when is the best time to plant a tree? Answer – 20 years ago. So when is the next best time? Answer – today. The past is done, lets move forward.
I’ve always loved that analogy, Dan!
Absolutely a great episode. I too have been going through Michael’s program. Like you, I have been through so many goal setting workshops and exercises, but this has been different. Maybe its the season of life I am in; maybe it’s just the Michael’s approach is more systematic. In any event, I am grateful for BOTH of you. Thanks for being a constant voice of encouragement and motivation for those of us who are wanting to make a difference. Wishing you a happy and most prosperous 2014!
One of the highlights of my year was getting to know you, Brian, and becoming friends. I look forward to talking with you soon.
Ray,
Write 2 books.
Do more coaching (4 new clients) work based on value instead of deliverables.
Get 6 pack abs.
Nice list, Todd!
2 new clients so far. 1 is 100% value based. A current client asked to be upgraded to a value base agreement. My core content for 1 book is done. My abs are on order.
After listening I realized that some of my 2013 goals were aiming too low, I added more ambitious goals after this episode, thank you great content Ray and Michael.
You’re quite welcome Adam. After talking with Michael, I also raised the bar on some of my own goals. He has that effect on people.
Ray – Purchased “Best Year Ever” through your link above. Wife and I are heading off for a long weekend to work through the program together. Thanks for the great interview with Michael Hyatt.
